Marcin Świerc scored top positions in the most prestigious European trail runs at various distances: from skyrunning, through long distances to ultra runs. He started running in 2002, in 2007 he focused on trail runs. Eight years later, he was the first Pole to finish the cycle of the prestigious Skyrunning Ultra World Cup in the 4th place.

A SELF-MADE MAN
Years of toil on a farm in the countryside seemed like a curse but he turned it into his strength. The sum of difficult experiences, combined with stubbornness and work, 16 years of training enabled Marcin to stand with the Polish flag on the podium in Chamonix - the world capital of trail runs, where the world elite is racing. It was a reward for years of setbacks, sacrifices, travel and continuous learning.
