These are the main thermal tech options you will find among our men’s ski and snow gear:

• Omni-Heat™ Reflective technology: It uses silver dots to retain and reflect your body heat. On top of that, we generally add medium insulation of 40 to 60 grams to our level 2 ski pants.
• Omni-Heat™ Infinity technology: This tech utilises gold dots to reflect body warmth. It provides instant heat but is still highly breathable. These trousers are a perfect option when you’re facing the coldest of days.

Now that you know what helps you stay warm during winter sports, we will introduce you to our waterproof technologies. As all skiers know, an essential factor to keeping warm on the slopes is to stay dry. It is crucial to keep water and snow out to face the cold and enjoy your winter adventure.

Columbia’s insulated ski and snow trousers are equipped with our Omni‑Tech™ waterproof & breathable membrane. It's efficient, lightweight and durable. Omni-Tech™ equips your ski trousers with multi-layered and durable waterproof and windproof protection. That’s a small feat compared to the fact that we’ve also made its waterproof membrane breathable. Because of the breathability of the materials, excess warmth and moisture can escape. Trousers with this technology are a good option when you’ll be exposed to light or medium rain or snow.

There are two different versions of this waterproof technology membrane:

• Omni‑Tech™ waterproof with critical seam sealed: The most exposed seams of the trousers will be sealed. A classic go‑to solution that will fit most needs.
• Omni‑Tech™ waterproof fully seam sealed: All seams are sealed. A higher level of waterproofness. Perfect for mountain enthusiasts and demanding skiers.

There are three degrees of warmth for men's ski trousers:

• Warm
• Extremely warm.
