Professional German slackliner Lukas Irmler has been collecting world records ever since he decided to turn his passion into a full-time profession. Now with two Guinness World Records and a lot of upcoming projects, Lukas is undoubtedly the most talented slackliner out there.
IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING
The first time Lukas tried slacklining, he failed miserably. He could not understand how something that looked so easy to do was so difficult for him. He decided he should give it a try and at least cross a slackline once to turn his failure into a success before moving on to something else. When he reached the other end of a line after a week of training, he could not believe he had accomplished something that had seemed utterly impossible just a few days before.
LIVING THE DREAM
Eager to see what else he could do with a slackline, Lukas started training intensively, highly motivated by the freedom and creativity he could express in his new discipline. After completed his Masters degree in Economics, Lukas decided to live his dream and become a full time professional athlete.
