Is it better to size up or down in hoodies?

Even though hoodies look big and baggy by design, when you try one on in your size you’ll find that it fits neatly and gives a clean look. Many people think that they need to size up in a hoodie, which can be a mistake if you’re trying to layer it with other items. On the other hand, if you size too small, as it’s a single piece of fabric pulled over your head, it can be restrictive around the shoulders and arms. A hoodie in your size will look just right, from the way it fits in the sleeve to how much coverage it provides when moving and bending.

Should I get oversized hoodies?

If you’re planning on using your hoodie indoors for lounging in comfort, or for travelling in, then getting one or two sizes bigger can be a good idea as it will feel roomier. If you’re wearing a t-shirt underneath it will feel less clingy, too. Is a jumper or a fleece better when active outdoors?

Fleece is warm but if you get too hot you can either roll up the sleeves easily and unzip it.
