Warranty Policy

Our Warranty Policy

In Europe, Columbia branded products including footwear are warranted for 2 years.

Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in garments, equipment and footwear manufactured by Columbia Sportswear Company.

Please note that Columbia does not warrant and is not responsible for damages caused by misuse, abuse, accidents, modifications, natural breakdown of materials over time, or problems that may be reasonably expected with normal wear or failure to follow product care instructions.

How to Get Warranty Service

At Columbia Sportswear, we expect our products to be free of manufacturer defects. However, should you have a warranty issue, please contact us and we’ll help.

Online purchases:

If you purchased a defective item on the Columbia Sportswear online shop less than one year ago, please contact us directly by phone (0 808 234 0229) and we will assist you with repair or replacement (if warranty policy is applicable).

Store purchases:

You may seek resolution directly through the retailer where you purchased your product. In most cases, the retailer will be able to assist you. If your retailer isn’t able to help, please email us at:

When contacting our customer service please provide your name, address and phone number, the item reference (style number), the size, a proof of purchase (scan) and some pictures showing the defect. We will follow up on your email with further information on the warranty procedure.

In general, defective items need be shipped to our European distribution center. We will inspect the item and provide repair or replacement if the Warranty Department determines, in its sole discretion, that the defect is covered by our warranty. New items will be sent to you free of charge.


If your Columbia garment has sustained physical damage not covered under our warranty and you would like to have the garment repaired, don’t hesitate to contact us. We can advise if your garment is repairable and if so put you in contact with a repair center
