Is it safe to shop on the Columbia online shop?
Yes. We are using a Symantec validated SSL technology to ensure that your personal data, credit card details and login credentials are save with us. The green bar in the URL guarantees that all sensitive information on this page is encrypted and cannot be read by third parties.
Our credit card transactions are processed by Ingenico, previously Ogone – an international service provider guaranteeing secure online payments. Columbia does neither access nor store your credit card details.
Do I need to register to order from the Columbia online shop?
Registration is not compulsory. You may always place an order as a guest. If you plan to shop regularly on the Columbia website, we recommend you to register. It will save you time and offer you some benefits. Creating a customer account is fast and free.
Why should I become a registered customer?
As a registered customer ordering will be faster. You will not be required to enter your details every time you order online because you may save several addresses in your account. You will be able to check your current order and order history, create wish lists of your favorite products and manage your email preferences directly in your account.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. If you wish to close your account please contact us. However, please note that you don’t need to close your account in order to unsubscribe from the Columbia newsletter. You can simply unsubscribe by going to “My Account” and clicking on “Unsubscribe” in your Email Preferences. We’ll be happy to assist you in placing an order over the phone, but are unable to accept orders through email due to security reasons. Contact us and we’ll be glad to help!
How do I know what is the right size for me?
There is a size chart with measurement instructions on every product page. It should help you to find the right size.
How can I check the status of my order?
There are multiple ways to check the status of your order. You can visit the order status page, you can click the link to the tracking number on your shipping confirmation email,, or you can contact us and we’ll be happy to help!
Can I change or cancel my order once it’s been placed?
We work hard to process your order quickly so that you receive it as soon as possible. Because we process orders so quickly, they cannot be interrupted once they have been placed. If you forgot to add something to your order before it was placed, please place a separate order for the additional item. It will ship to you in separate packaging, and will have its own unique order number and tracking link. If you'd like to cancel your order, you'll need to wait until it is received and then return it for a refund.
What happens if I am not at home when the delivery arrives?
In case of a failed delivery attempt, DHL will leave a notice in your letter box and you will have the possibility to schedule a new delivery date with the carrier.

What does the Columbia logo mean?
All Columbia brand products carry the Columbia Sportswear "Bug" emblem. The "Bug" is simply a stylized graphic representation of a basic textile weave pattern that was adopted as the corporate logo in 1978.

The majority of our product line is available on our website. However, if you are looking for something from a past season, please send an email to Europefirstname.lastname@example.org. We may be able to assist you in locating the product through one of our retailers.
Can I return my online purchase at a Columbia store?
Columbia returns are free and easy to handle. Please check out our returns procedure or contact us. We can provide you with a return authorization and explain the returns process. Our retail stores cannot accept returns from online orders.
